NBS reports on findings presented to the presented at the 249th American Chemical Society National Meeting & Exposition that Colorado Pot is reaching record THC potency levels. This becomes increasingly concerning as the industry wants to revoke even the most basic protections to ensure that food, candy and sodas that contain marijuana be clearly identified and marked both inside and outside its packaging.
Because of the tremendous risks and uncertainties that continue to exist, we at Smart Colorado believe it is imperative for Colorado children, teenagers, and adults to have the tools and information they need to protect themselves. Important data and factual information must continue to be collected, analyzed and reported so that the general public and most importantly our kids are fully aware of the serious risks and harms that can come from consuming such products.
As marijuana becomes increasingly available in Colorado, it is imperative that this kind of information and data continue to be collected and used for on-going community and policy-making decisions.
