During Monday’s gubernatorial debate, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper expressed tremendous concern about the implementation of Colorado’s marijuana laws. He said he believed approving legal marijuana was “reckless,” at least in part due to voting without sufficient available data on the issue. Hickenlooper advised other states not to move full speed ahead without more time to gauge the outcomes within Colorado. Republican candidate Bob Beauprez agreed with the governor about marijuana.
