Hershey Co. (HSY) settled a trademark suit against Colorado marijuana-based candy maker TinctureBelle for trademark infringement. Hershey Co. makes Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Hershey’s Kisses and Kit Kat bars, and claimed that consumers would be confused by the similarity between its products and the marijuana-infused lookalikes.

This poses a significant danger to adults, but even more so to children who cannot tell the difference between products. When familiar candy brands and types contain invisible marijuana, all of Colorado’s youth are at risk.
